Scottsdale Counseling Center

Scottsdale Counseling Center

Crossroads Counseling Scottsdale location provides therapy for couples, families, children, teen, and individuals.  Crossroads has been in Scottsdale for 12 years serving the community by providing the best counseling and mental health services.

The team of therapists at the Scottsdale office provide couples therapy utilizing Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy, of EFT.  EFT was developed by Sue Johnson and Les Greenberg in the early 1980’s.  It is highly effective in treating couples who are dealing with minor and severe relationship challenges.  The key to EFT’s power is viewing the relationship distress through an attachment lens?  What does that mean?  It means that when couples argue and fight or have distance and disconnection the reason is often due to issues related to the level of safety and security in the relationship.  When couples do not feel emotionally safe and secure conflict and disconnection inevitably ensues.

The team of therapists at the Scottsdale office also offer counseling for families, teens, and children.  Sand tray and play therapy techniques for children ages 6 and up are excellent approaches to help children process their emotional world.  Parenting classes such as Love and Logic are also available for parents who would like to find a good balance between providing love and rules.  Teen counseling for teens struggling with issues of self-confidence, anxiety, depression, friendships, defiance, and transitioning into adulthood are also available.

Our Scottsdale office also offers therapy for individuals struggling with grief and loss, depression, anxiety, or trauma.  You don’t have to suffer alone!  There is help from trained professionals who can teach you how to reduce anxiety through several helpful techniques.  If you are struggling with depression and need support along with learning tools that can help you feel better our depression counseling can help.  If you are struggling with trauma or PTSD Crossroads has several EMDR therapists who can help you move from fear to freedom.

Crossroads Counseling also offers group therapy services at our Scottsdale location.  Group therapy is a powerful and effective way to maximize your growth and healing process.

Our Scottsdale office also offers Christian counseling services for those who desire this to be integrated into their counseling process.  For many, God is the ultimate Healer and Comforter.  God is the source of change.  If this is you, Crossroads Counseling’s Christian therapy services is exactly what you are looking for.  If this is not you that’s okay too.  We work with people of all backgrounds and belief systems.
