Caitlin Meaney, EdD, LMFT
Caitlin is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that has had the privilege of working collaboratively with individuals, couples and families across a variety of settings as they seek to achieve meaningful changes in their lives. Caitlin has provided clinical therapy and mental health consultation across several contexts, including outpatient mental health agencies, early childhood programs across the state, private practice clinics and pediatric hospital settings. I have also had the privilege of teaching for several years in in the Marriage and Family Program at Arizona State University, the same program I obtained my clinical degree from years prior.
The heart of my practice as a clinician is aimed at shifting and enhancing relational connections among individuals and their partners/family members as they move through vulnerable stages of their lives, so that ultimately a sense of emotional safety and security is achieved. I have dedicated the last several years of my practice to supporting parents with young children (0-5), consulting early childhood educators in preschool settings, and working with children and families that are dealing with chronic pediatric medical conditions. Caitlin has also had several years of specialization in working with individuals, couples and families that are going through life transitions, working through infidelity/trust concerns, experiencing grief and loss, and navigating the parent-child relationship at all stages.
From her perspective, the therapeutic relationship that she creates together with the client is the most influential factor in achieving positive outcomes. Caitlin says it is always a privilege to walk with, not in front of, her clients as they engage in therapy. She looks forward to hearing from you!
