Caitlin Meaney, EdD, LMFT
Caitlin is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist that has had the privilege of working collaboratively with individuals, couples and families across a variety of settings as they seek to achieve meaningful changes in their lives. Caitlin also holds a doctorate degree in leadership and innovation and has taught at Arizona State University in the Marriage and Family Therapy program over the last several years. Caitlin has provided clinical therapy, clinical supervision, and mental health consultation across several contexts, including outpatient mental health agencies, education programs across the state, private practice clinics and hospital settings.
Caitlin has nearly ten years of specialization in working with individuals, couples and families that are going through life transitions, working through infidelity/trust concerns, experiencing grief and loss, and navigating the parent-child relationship at all stages. Caitlin utilizes modalities ranging from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), all with a focus on the health of relationships. Caitlin has dedicated the last several years of her practice to supporting parents with young children, consulting educators on social/emotional needs of students, and working with individuals and families that are dealing with chronic medical conditions.
The heart of Caitlin’s practice as a clinician is aimed at shifting and enhancing relational connections among individuals and their partners/family members as they move through vulnerable stages of their lives, so that ultimately a sense of emotional safety and security is achieved. From Caitlin’s perspective, the therapeutic relationship that is create is the most influential factor in achieving positive outcomes. Caitlin feels that it is always a privilege to walk with, not in front of, her clients as they engage in therapy.
Caitlin is looking forward to hearing from you!
