The Connected Woman
Are you frustrated with life? Are you experiencing an issue such as anxiety, depression, or trauma. Is your marriage, family, and relationships missing deeper meaning and purpose? Maybe you feel isolated and alone and really don’t know where or who to turn to.
If you are ready to find support and answers to patterns or issues in your life that have been holding you back then The Connected Woman process group experience may be exactly what you need!
The Connected Woman is a group process experience of like-minded women who want to learn new and positive ways of coping with life’s challenges. You will find friendship but you will also be challenged to grow in whatever role or capacity you find yourself in.
Because trust is a critical component of group process the first few sessions of are usually spent on establishing safety and on identify growth goals among the group members. It is this safety and trust that allows group members to openly and authentically work towards achieving their growth goals. The safety and trust in the group also allows for the group members to offer insight to one another as well as encouragement towards completion of growth goals.
The power of the Connected Woman is in giving and receiving feedback among the group members, encouraging one another to succeed, and in supporting each members growth. Group members are responsible to bring up topics or issues they want to address. Group members are also encouraged to give support and feedback to one another. The discussion within the group is predominantly led by the group.
The group therapist/facilitator acts a guide and along with the group members is able to to point out “blind spots” by offering truth and grace. Along with group members the therapist/facilitator may serve as a model for effective communication, healthy conflict resolution skills, and assist in promoting personal growth.
