Michelle (Huntley) Rosensteel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Inspired by her belief that the divine is reflected in every person, Michelle accompanies her clients on their journey—wherever they may be—and empowers them to become more of the person they are meant to be.
Michelle is experienced in: substance and process addictions; sex addiction; trauma; betrayal trauma; attachment wounding; codependency; boundary issues; intimacy issues; anxiety; depression; grief and loss; personality disorders; life transitions; couples, family, group, and individual therapy; emotion regulation; coping and life skills; and psychoeducation.
Michelle is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing). She incorporates ideas and interventions from attachment theory, experiential therapy, structural therapy, family systems, and solution-focused approaches.
Michelle has a Master of Science in Marriage Family Therapy with a specialization in Medical Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Michelle completed her Practicum at Gentle Path and Willow House at the Meadows where she worked with men and women with sex addiction and intimacy disorders. Michelle graduated from The George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Prior to entering the therapy profession, Michelle spent a decade working for education and philanthropic causes. She brings her passion for servant leadership and service to her work as a marriage and family therapist.
