Arizona Marriage Retreat
Arizona Marriage Retreat: Aired on March 14th, 2015.
In this episode join your hosts, Travis and Kari Frye, as they talk about an exciting opportunity for Arizona couples. Through Crossroads Family Counseling Center Travis and Kari Frye offer a unique marriage retreat based on the theory and practice of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and Sue Johnson’s best selling book Created For Connection. This marriage retreat is specifically designed for Christian couples but it is open to everyone.
You and your spouse will learn how to identify and stop negative repeating patterns of interaction in your marriage. You will learn how to identify and share your own vulnerable emotions and attachment needs as well as learn how to respond to your spouse’s vulnerability and relational needs. There are two options for a Christian marriage retreat. There is the group option that utilizes the Hold Me Tight format and there are private marriage intensives where you and your spouse meet with a therapist for a period of 2, 3, or 4 days. The group marriage retreat involves teaching couples how to deepen their emotional bond with one another, resolve conflict more effectively, and improve communication skills. The private intensive is highly personalized to your relationship and is ideal for couples who are experiencing higher levels of distress.
Arizona Marriage Retreats utilizing the Created For Connection and/ Hold Me Tight for couples are held throughout the year. Click here to learn more and to discover when the next marriage seminar will be available.
